Microsoft Phone Tracking

The Walker Tracker App is not available for Microsoft phones but you still have options for tracking your steps! The following are options you can download to your phone to use as a pedometer and connect to Walker Tracker.

Microsoft Health

  1. Download Microsoft Health to your Android or IOS phone and create an account. Your Microsoft phone will now act as your pedometer which means you need to keep your phone on you at all times to track your steps. 
  2. Once you have downloaded the app and created an account, you will log into your Walker Tracker account to link them together.
  3. Click on your username in the upper right-hand corner of your Walker Tracker account and then click on “Devices”. Click to “Connect” a Wireless Device and proceed through the prompt. When asked for an email and password, this will be the email and password you used when creating an account in the Microsoft Health app. 

Fitbit App

The Fitbit app is another option. You can download the app and use it without having a Fitbit device. 

  1. Download the Fitbit App for Android or IOS phone.
  2. Create an account.
  3. Log into your Walker Tracker account and click on your username in the upper right-hand corner of your account. 
  4. Click on “Devices”.
  5. Click to “Connect”, next to wireless devices and continue through the prompts.
  6. Select Fitbit as your source.
  7. When prompted, enter in the email and password that you registered with through the Fitbit app.
  8. You’re connected!

MyFitnessPal

MyFitnessPal is yet another choice you have. MyFitnessPal can be paired with different devices and then connected to Walker Tracker to track your steps. This app is not a pedometer itself, and needs to be connected to a device to track your steps. 

  1. Download MyFitnessPal for Android or IOS phone. 
  2. Create an account and link it to your pedometer. EX: Fitbit, Misfit, Garmin, etc. 
  3. Log into your Walker Tracker account and click on your username in the upper right-hand corner of your account. 
  4. Click on “Devices”.
  5. Click to “Connect” next to wireless devices and continue through the prompts.
  6. Select MyFitnessPal as your source.
  7. When prompted, enter in the email and password that you registered with through the MyFitnessPal app. 
  8. You’re connected!

Misfit Device

If you have a Misfit Device, the app for Misfit is available for Windows phones. To link your Misfit app to Walker Tracker, follow the directions below:

  1. Download the Misfit app to your Android or IOS phone. 
  2. Link your Misfit device to the Misfit app and take note of the email and password that you use to set up your Misfit app on your phone.
  3. Open your Walker Tracker account in a browser such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Safari.
  4. Click on your username in the upper right-hand corner then click on the sub-heading “Devices”.
  5. Click “Connect” next to Wireless Devices. Then “Connect Activity Tracker”.
  6. Choose Misfit as your source and enter in the email and password that is used to sign into your Misfit app on your phone.
  7. You’re connected!
