Question: How do I calculate how many calories are burned for every 10,000 steps?

Says the average is 300-400 calories burned per 10,000 steps, though there are a number of different factors to take into account.
Some pedometers will run these calculations for you.
Workplace Walks doesn't currently do these calculations (though it's a great idea!) though in your preferences section of Workplace Walks under 'Custom Metrics' you can turn on the ability to track other things besides steps, such as calories and weight, and metrics of your own choosing.
As an administrator, you can also enforce which custom metrics you want to be tracked, in case you want everyone in your organization tracking the same thing (eg: Carpools or glasses of water, etc)
