Giving Points is a great way to tell people they're doing a great job, or to reward them for winning a competition. It adds a little good-will currency to the site that you can spend.

If you hover over anyone's profile picture, a small button will appear at the top that says 'GIVE POINTS'

Simply click on that button to be taken to the screen where you can give away points.

Alternately: Click on the profile of the person you want to give points to. 

Then look for a link (see screenshot) next to the persons profile name at the top of the page that says "Give Points".

On the following page, you can choose how many points to give that person and a space to include a personal note to that person.
Once you've entered all your info on that page, just click the "Give Points" button at the bottom.

They will receive a notification that they've received points. If they wish, they can write you a tiny thank-you note back that will appear on your screen.
