"How do I convert a pilates class to steps? "
Just sheer strength of will and hard work... (just joking)
If you click on the activity converter (blue button below where you add steps) you'll see a dropdown where you can select pilates.
Just enter the amount of minutes you spent doing pilates, click 'calculate' (you'll see it converted), and then click "← click to addend to total steps" to have it added to your step total. See screenshot.
Best of luck!

The activity converter box is not there on my step log screen anymore, where is it now?
Hi Zelda - thanks for writing. Yes, I believe it's turned off in your particular program. You'll just want to see your program administrator about that. Thanks.
My activity converter only shows bicycling, rowing and miles translated into steps. No option for Pilates, yoga or boxing (which is what I am doing in addition to walking)...
Hi Kat -
Each program administrator has control over which items in the Activity Converter are turned on. You might try emailing your HR department to see if they'll turn these options on for you.
Best,
Ben
The last couple of weeks have been getting a lot of flack in different competitions with some members accousing others of cheating because of using step convertors. In my DH (widget) 55th birthday challenge, the most resent comment was from someone questioning the use of step convertors (The high stepper had gotten many of his steps by bicycling). Another of my comrades had contacted me to check out his step postings to see if anything was wrong, because he had been accused of cheating. Since your onsite step convertor is a Pro feature only (and I am not Pro) I think that some may not know that this is a legitamate way to add steps...after all activity is activity. Anyway, I'm having a hard time on the WT site finding anything that I could refer these people to who are errantly accusing others of cheating.
